Oats Masala Muesli

INGREDIENTS

  • Bagrry’s Oats for Poha - 1 cup
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Peanuts - ½ cup
  • Curry leaves - 2-3
  • Sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
  • Red chillies (dried) - 3, chopped
  • Chana dal - 2 tsp
  • Cumin seed powder - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida (hing) - ½ tsp
  • Coriander seed powder - ½ tsp
  • Turmeric - ½ tsp
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste

PREPARATION

  • Roast Bagrry’s Oats for Poha on medium flame until crisp and keep aside in a bowl
  • Roast the sesame seeds and keep in a separate bowl
  • Now add 1 tbsp of oil in the pan and sauté the peanuts until brown. Keep aside.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. When it is hot, add turmeric powder and asafoetida, followed by the curry leaves
  • Add chana dal and sauté until they turn reddish
  • Add the chopped green chillies and fry again for some time. Now, add the sesame seeds
  • Finally, add the oats for poha and all the fried ingredients together and mix. Add salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, sugar and toss gently
  • Serve hot or store it as a nutritious snack and munch on it any time
