Oats Rice Payasam

INGREDIENTS

  • Bagrry’s Oats for Rice - 1 ½ cups
  • Coconut milk/ normal milk - 9 cups
  • Water - 5 cups
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Cardamom - Few, crushed
  • Cashew nuts - few
  • Pistachios - few
  • Black raisins - few

PREPARATION

  • Mix Bagrry’s Oats for Rice, water and milk and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally till the volume reduces to half
  • Cook on medium heat till rice is done. Add sugar, cook for 20 more minutes with frequent stirring
  • Add crushed cardamom. Remove from stove.
  • Garnish with cashew nuts, pistachios and black raisins and serve hot/cold
