Oats Rice Pulao

INGREDIENTS

  • Oats for Rice - 1 ½ cups
  • Plain rice - ½ cup
  • Onion - ½ cup, chopped
  • Beans - ½ cup, finely chopped
  • Carrots - ½ cup, chopped
  • Peas - 1 cup
  • Capsicum - ½ cup, finely chopped
  • Refined oil - 2 tbsp
  • Zeera - ½ tsp
  • Chilli powder - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Whole pepper - few
  • Whole cardamom - 4/5 cloves
  • Green chillies - 2, chopped
  • Coriander leaves - few

PREPARATION

  • Soak Bagrry’s Oats for Rice for 40 mins.
  • In a pan heat oil, add whole spices,  zeera and onion. Fry for 3 min while stirring continuously
  • Add all the vegetables , salt and cook for 5-10 min on medium flame until all the vegetables are cooked
  • Now add the Bagrry’s Oats for Rice and plain rice in the pan and add 3 cups of water to it.
  • Cover the pan and cook on medium flame for 15 minutes
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and green chillies
