- 1 cup Bagrry’s Fruit & Nut Muesli
- 4 large apples
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup melted butter (unsalted butter, if desired) or coconut oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)
- Yogurt or ice cream for serving (optional)
Recipe
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and core the apples, leaving the bottom intact to create a cavity for the stuffing.
- If necessary, trim a thin slice off the bottom of each apple to help them stand upright.
- In a medium bowl, combine the Bagrry’s Fruit & Nut Muesli, honey or maple syrup, melted butter or coconut oil, cinnamon, and raisins or dried cranberries if using.
- Mix well to ensure the muesli is evenly coated.
- Spoon the muesli mixture into the cavities of each apple, packing it in tightly.
- Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil to prevent the tops from burning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
- Remove the baked apples from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with a dollop of yogurt or a scoop of ice cream.
