Ingredients
- 1 cup Bagrry’s rolled oats
- 1 cup Greek yoghurt (or any thick yoghurt)
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds (optional)
- 1 banana, sliced
- 2 tablespoons nuts or seeds (e.g., almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds)
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Recipe
- In a bowl, mix the Bagrry’s rolled oats with 2 tablespoons of chia seeds (if using) and a pinch of cinnamon.
- In two serving glasses or jars, start by adding a layer of Greek yoghurt at the bottom.
- Next, add a layer of the oat’s mixture.
- Drizzle with honey or maple syrup to sweeten.
- Add a layer of mixed berries and banana slices.
- Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, ending with a layer of yoghurt and a few berries on top.
- Cover the glasses or jars with plastic wrap or a lid.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best texture as the oats and chia seeds will absorb the yoghurt and swell.
- Before serving, sprinkle the parfaits with nuts or seeds for added crunch.
- Optionally, drizzle a little more honey or maple syrup on top.
- Serve cold and enjoy your healthy and delicious Oats and Yoghurt Parfait!
